Introduction

I’m a developer based in Chester, UK. I’ve been building software and internal tools in the e-comm, retail, hospitality and energy/comms ombudsman industries for over half a decade after completing my MSC in Computing.

I have a passion for building digital services that provide meaningful value to users, whether it be on greenfield projects or through the iterative improvement of existing applications. I’m comfortable working across the stack with most of my experience being in NodeJS, React, AWS and a variety of CI/CD platforms using agile methodologies and TDD.

I’m eager to join a results driven team that values a collaborative and supportive environment. Sharing ideas and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and learning is how I try to make a difference to the experience of our users and colleagues. I like to understand the why behind what we're building, before I can best help the team, and myself to achieve our goals.
